College Placement Management System 🎓

A full-stack web application designed to streamline and automate the college campus placement process. Built for students and administrators, this platform facilitates job postings, student profile management, and automated eligibility checking.

🚀 Features

• Role-Based Access Control: Secure login and customized dashboards for both Students and Administrators.
• Student Profiles: Comprehensive profiles where students can update their academic details, select skills via a user-friendly checkbox grid, and upload resumes.
• Secure Resume Uploads: Integration with Cloudinary for reliable and persistent cloud storage of student resumes.
• Automated Eligibility Checker: Custom backend logic that dynamically matches student profiles (skills, academic marks, graduation year) against job requirements to determine eligibility instantly.
• Job Management: Admins can post, update, and manage job opportunities, as well as view student applications.
• Production-Ready: Configured for deployment on cloud platforms (like Render) using Gunicorn and a persistent PostgreSQL database.

☁️ Deployment Architecture

This application is deployed on Render.com with a production-grade architecture:

• It uses gunicorn app:app as the start command for robust request handling.
• It requires a managed PostgreSQL database attached via the DATABASE_URL environment variable.
• User-uploaded resumes are safely stored in Cloudinary to prevent data loss during ephemeral server restarts.
